Kuwait Towers are trademark of Kuwait; it will be on any of Kuwait souvenirs. mug, t-shirt, handcrafts, book, cards, towel,… etc. they consist of three towers but the main attraction will be in the main/highest tower. It has the two levels of viewing sphere (9AM-12MN) and some restaurants. You may reach them with the lift and the operator will be there for you. You can just tell him if you want to go to the restaurants first or straight to the viewing sphere. You will see a small cafe there and eat your meal on the table, located on the full round floor, rotating every 30 minutes to see the view of Kuwait. The main tower is 187m height, the second one (water reservoir) is 147m, and the shortest one (electricity control) is 113m.It was officially opened on March 1,1979, made by Sure Linstrom. Great beach and park at the surrounding area. Souq Al-Mubarakiya: its an old Kuwaiti market that sells all sorts of traditional clothes, accessories, kitchenware and several other stuff. There are fruit stalls and a fish market as well. The majority shops are antique/vintage or just plain traditional. The architecture and decor of the place is old fashioned.

Souk Al-Hareem:

Persian Carpet Souk:

is located in Al-Mubarakiya where carpets from one thousand and one nights are simply lying there in their marvel.

Gold Souk:

you will find cheaper gold than in any other country you have visited. Its gold can be considered to be the easiest item to buy in Kuwait.

Fish Market:

If you like seafood, fish market will be the most convenient place to shop in. Fish are an important ingredient in the Kuwaiti diet, so there are three main fish markets in the country namely in Shuwaikh, Al-Sharq, and Al-Fahaheel. The market located at Sharq seaside, beside Shouk Sharq. It has big parking lot, you can enjoy the nice view around. The best time to visit will be late afternoon, just before the sunset, you will enjoy the sea view and the city view across the marina. Fish market itself is clean and fully air-conditioned. You should bargain whenever you buy anything there and you can ask them to clean the fish you had bought. Shrimps, crabs and squids won't be found all the time as there will be some special months for selling them. You can also get porters there to bring your trolley.

Liberation Tower:

It represents Kuwaiti liberation, the sure sign of the country's resurgence. It is one of tallest telecommunication towers in the world. The tower is 372 meters in height, and is 40 meters taller than the Eiffel Tower. The structure has been built by use of ceramic tiles on the façade from the base to the first mezzanine level, which is 308 meters above ground level. The tower and telecommunication complex is divided into three; a public communications center, a restaurant at 150 meters and the revolving observation level, and the plant and equipment structure. The tower has eighteen elevators, which are also the fastest in the world, operating at the speed of 6.3meters per second. Located above the revolving mezzanine, are the six office floors, the section being encased in anodized aluminum, to withstand the extreme temperatures in Kuwait.

Sadu House:

The roots of Kuwait are associated with both the desert and the sea. The Bedouins lived a life governed by the rhythm of seasons. Sadu weaving, characterized by geometric designs woven by hand with dyed, spun and colored wool, is a traditional craft of major importance. The Al-Sadu Society was formed with an intention of retaining these Bedouin crafts from total extinction, which led to establishment of Sadu House. The house comprises various chambers decorated with construction materials and pottery, depicting the old houses, mosques, water and bread storage places etc., in Kuwait. Al Baraha, another section, is a roofed playground meant for children during ancient days.

Sports:

For those interested in Archery, there is the National Archery Center in the Hunting and Equestrian Club, and anyone could make use of it at a nominal fee. Among the other popular sports in Kuwait are the Basketball and Bowling. Also, for those interested in Equestrian Sports, the Hunting and Equestrian Club on the sixth Ring Road offers race tracks, gymkhana and riding facilities, squash courts, tennis, swimming pools, restaurant, bowling alley, and indoor sports area. Ice-skating at the Ice Skating Rink on the first Ring Road, and motorbike racing are other sporting activities in Kuwait, worth a try.
